The source of the reportedly ungrounded rumor was none other than a recent journal entry Solbi posted on her Cyworld mini blog.

Solbi recently wrote in her blog journal that she was beginning to have real feelings for Andy. She added, however, that she may soon end up alone all over again as it was difficult for her to express her true feelings.

Shinhwa: For the past ten years, there were no disband or change in members, Korea’s longest running idol group Shinhwa. They have not only produced the most albums, but each member has also had their own solo activities. However, their path has not always been this smooth.

When they first debut with ‘Hae Gyul Sah’, the response was lackluster. They tried to use the dance song, ‘Eusha Eusha’ to gain support but during this time, there were stiff competition from other groups. Because of this, Shinhwa members have decided if they do not get anywhere with their 2nd album, they will go their separate ways. With such a decision, they tried all ways to cut their expenses. Andy nearly became part of HOT when he was 15, but because his family opposed the idea as they felt that he was too young, he joined Shinhwa 2 years later. And later on, he left for America for personal reasons, leaving only 5 people during the forth album, ‘Wild Eyes’. At that time, Andy feared he could not return to the group and at 17, when he felt so alone in this entertainment industry, he started drinking. At one look, Andy seems to be the innocent and cute boy but in actual fact, he had to deal with a continuous mental struggle.

Hyun Bin: Actor. Appeared in MBC with Andy. When Shinhwa ended their contract with SM, they did not carry out any solo activities. It was Andy and Junjin who took the lead with . Andy was know for his long line earlier in the show, ‘In such times when the economy is not doing well and where 50000 young people are unemployed, if you do not make thorough preparations for examinations how are you going to live on?’

Later on in the show, he was involved in a love triangle with Han Ye Seul and Hyun Bin, taking on a greater role in the show. Andy and Hyun Bin built a strong friendship through the show. Audiences of instead of the ‘An-Seul’ of ‘Hyun-Seul’ combination actually preferred ‘An-Hyun’. In series, singers were seen to be able to act just as well as actors, and indeed, this was a stepping stone for Andy. After Shinhwa’s 7th album, their main focus was on solo activities and for Andy who discovered he was lacking in acting decided not to take on anymore dramas, and was not active as a solo singer as well. But he was constantly on variety shows. In ‘X man’, Andy was always the one to create the atmosphere with his dances and in , he went all out for the show, putting away his idol image. He also hosted SBS , doing his heart dance on stage, and singing Propose. And on MBC’s ‘We’re Married’, we see another side of Andy, and his heart dance.

Andy took part in the musical and has showed us what he is capable of, other than being Shinhwa’s youngest member.

Solbi: She appears on ‘We’re Married’ with Andy. They have come a long way together in the show, and recently Solbi has said she is worried that her feelings in the show for Andy might become real unknowingly. KBS 2 TV’s ‘Live Music Bank’ Special stage broadcasted on 6 June, Kim Dongwan and Andy performed together, performing Andy’s ‘Propose’ as well as Kim Dongwan’s ‘Secret’.

Andy’s ‘Propose’ has been heard on MBC’s ‘We’re Married’ where he plays Solbi’s fictitious husband, and this song has topped the charts for several weeks. Kim Dongwan’s second album title track ‘Secret’ is not his usual ballads, but instead we hear electronic elements in the song.

The two of them performed each other’s song passionately, as if it was their own, showing the deep bond they share as Shinhwa for the past ten years.

On the latest We Got Married edition of MBC's Come To Play, a poll was held among viewers. A total of 17,710 viewers were involved in the poll, and Andy and Shin Ae both won the poll with 45% and 39% of the votes respectively.

Following Andy in 2nd place with 35% of the votes was SS501's Kim Hyun Joong. Alex, making a comeback in the next episode, claimed 3rd place and Crown J placed last. For the brides, Solbi, Hwang Bo and Seo In Young were ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively.

Shinhwa’s Andy, who recently has been touted as the number 1 choice for a husband, revealed his simple secret for his popularity with the ladies on the 20th May episode of KBS2’s Sang Sang Plus Season 2 – simply by being gentle and endearing. He says when he would make a soup to cure his girlfriend’s hangover. The responses from the male and female guests were very different: while female guests nodded in approval, male guests made jealous comments such as “Why don’t you just open a restaurant selling soup then?”

Did nasty comments help to motivate Andy?
Shinhwa member Andy shared the story behind his journey of becoming a solo singer on the 20th May episode of KBS2’s Sang Sang Plus Season 2.

During the Balloon Talk segment, he spoke of being very tired of feeling that he hasn’t had any achievements for the 10 years he spent in the industry. The 3-month break before his spate of promotional activities was “a time to reflect on the negative comments.”

While the other 5 members often received positive attention, comments for Andy were often like “What have you done for the past 10 years?” – this hurt him a great deal. There is a young man who became part of a legend since he was 18. He lives in a world that is bright for 365 days of the year. Even throughout his confused teenage years, his unhappy twenties, the sparkling star continues living in this world of bright days.

Andy Lee Seon Ho. He could have become part of H.O.T. He passed the auditions at 14 and was supposed to join H.O.T, but despite his hard work, he had to return to the US due to parental objection. In 1996, he became part of Shinhwa after another round of auditions. Shinhwa has spent the last 10 years together as a group, and the group has truly become a legend now.

The youngest of the group, the 28-year-old says to us every Sunday "We Got Married!". We can see that he does want to get married. "There was a festival when I was in high school, where students from each country had to perform songs from their native lands. I took part because I heard that it was quite a large scale event , and I was curious about what students from the other countries were going to perform. The great response that I received when I stood on the stage made me think, that it would be really great to be a singer."

That was the first time he was approached to be an entertainer. Andy's performance was spotted by the organizer of the event, and just like that, 14-year-old Andy was selected to be a H.O.T member, and subsequently became part of Shinhwa instead. Of course his parents objected, as very few idol groups attained success. "It was the IMF crisis at that point in time, and they were even more against it. We weren't that well off, so I could see why they were against it. They were worried about me entering the entertainment industry at such a young age, whether I would still be able to find a stable job when I leave the industry. In the end they told me to go ahead and do it if I was confident that I wouldn't regret my decision."

Then in 1998, Shinhwa was born. Their first performance was on a KMTV show. "There were a lot of people present, but only 9 were Shinhwa fans and they were holding black colored signs. I still remember them because I was so happy. Then 9 became 90, 90 became 900, and eventually there were 9000. Singers always find it very meaningful to be able to perform their own songs. Just a few months ago at Shinhwa's 10th anniversary concert, Andy introduced himself the way he did in the past, "Cute Guy Andy imnida", followed by the whole group shouting "Urineun Shinhwa imnida!"

Growing Pains
Since making his debut with Shinhwa with Hae Gyul Sah, Andy hasn't had any year of rest at all. There was even a year where they released 2 albums. They worked as hard as office workers working towards the "Model Employee of the Year" award, appearing on countless programmes. He was still part of Shinhwa despite his troubled teenage years and 20s. "I used to drink when I was troubled...but troubles became a common thing. After a while I just got used to them."

He is alway seen as the little brother of Shinhwa. He had a rough autumn last year, when the almighty netizens left nasty messages like "What have you been doing for the past 10 years? What are you capable of?" on public forums. He was hurt but he hid his pain. However he started to have the desire to prove them wrong. "I thought about whether I really didn't prove my worth at all." Out of every 5 messages he read, 70% were negative. And he spent more time than expected preparing for the 1st album due to stress, but he made it in the end.

Andy, 1/6th
His first album takes a sweet romantic approach. Love and marriage, happy lyrics that are loved by all and cheerful melodies to top it all off. "There are some conflicts between my own unique qualities and the Andy that fans want to see. I haven't had consistent practice in singing for the past 10 years, and it was only after the musical that I decided to work on a solo album. It was the same with the concert. But as I sang along with the fans for the 7 days, I gained more confidence. The friends who used to joke about this now sing my songs in front of me at the noraebang. (laughs) The feeling is really nice, and I'm really happy." He has already gotten closer to the fans through his songs and concerts without realizing it. We'd imagine him to propose in a most romantic manner, just like those in the movies, but reality presents a different situation. "My dad's a traditional and conservative Korean man, I guess I would be influenced by him somehow. It's the same when it comes to relationship. I would find it hard to say 'Let's get together in a relationship' to anyone."

Cute Guy and Realist
Andy's Westernized name creates some kind of confusion sometimes. He's a guy whose favorite dish is beanpaste soup. "I eat spaghetti too, but I'd get hungry after a while..." This cute guy finishes up his soup in one shot - this is the kind of idol star that he is. If he could travel through the galaxy, he'd want to live among the stars. He wants to show his entrepreneurial skills and business sense in a peaceful universe.

"Don't regret your decisions even if you fail. This failure can lead you to successes elsewhere. And people must fail in order to mature. Aren't all adults like that? For a man, his life starts at 30, so if you have anything you want to try, just give it a shot, don't think about whether you'll fail or not."

Restaurants, cafes, online malls are among the options he is considering. Although he doesn't intend to reach the stage where he can own a building, but he'd like to try his hand at architecture and technology.But is Andy this ambitious?

And he sparkles...
"I think in 10 years time everyone should be married and busy with their families, and also living an ordinary life after finding a new career path. It's hard to imagine being active as a group all the way." That's why he's experiencing married life on a reality show now. Shinhwa is a unique case in the Korean music industry. The 6 of them have been functioning as a group from their teens through their 20s. No one knows what will happen as they embark on their solo careers in their 30s, or how it will be when they're no longer Shinhwa. There has been no example to refer to.

Never forgetting to thank the fans for their love and care no matter what problems he faces, I asked Andy if he's tired of staying in the public eye. He says that the nature of the work is such that he won't be tired. "I've been living for the past 10 years like this, so I'm probably a fool to not be able to express my feelings in front of other people. But I've changed my perspective a lot since back then. I now try to understand things and answer my own questions. To be able to understand something completely takes a long time....although I'm still not very sensible now either (laughs)."

The star high up in the sky has shone for 10 years, and is practicing while it inches nearer to earth. In the next 10 years, I hope they will become like SMAP. A star continue to shine even as time passes, that's its destiny. Twinkling, twinkling, the endearing star that lives next to us is glowing right now.

Last May 14, Gummy revealed in the MBC show “Golden Fishery - Radio Star” that there were offers for her to transfer labels during the time she was extending her contract with YG Entertainment.

In the said show, she was asked whether she had offers to transfer labels before finally signing again under YG to which Gummy answered, “Of course there were. I was even offered with a contract worth 2 billion won.”

During the recording for KBS2's Cider, when asked if he's ever attended any blind dates before, he said "3 years ago, when my mom suggested that we go out for dinner, and I ended up on a blind date."

"My mom said that she was going to have dinner with her friend and she brought me along to this posh restaurant. It turned out that my mom's friend brought along a young lady too. After we exchanged greetings, my mom and her friend told us to go home after we were done with dinner then they just left."

"The young lady was actually younger than she looked, and I was simply at a loss. After dinner I offered to send her home but then she said she wanted to go for some drinks."

The MC then asked if they went for drinks in the end, to which Andy replied "We didn't, but we said we'd go the next time round. We exchanged numbers too, but we didn't keep in touch after that."

SS501’s “Jjanggu dance”, Friday May 16, 2008 Korea

If last year’s hit was the “Tell Me” dance, this year, it is SS501’s “Jjanggu dance” for its song “A Song Calling For You” that is creating a buzz. A remix version of the said song was released as a digital single in early May. Andy and Solbi are currently playing a newlywed couple on MBC's We Got Married, and are enjoying a great deal of popularity among viewers. In response to Solbi's recent confession on Sang Sang Plus that she'd like to date Andy if possible, Andy also made his feelings clear.

Erm.. Recently.. Because of the programme, there seems to be many people who feel hurt, and they're upset with me sometimes... What should I say to everyone to make it better...

Before I started my solo activities, I promised to meet everyone via TV programmes. When I do recording for the programmes, I'd think of people on the programme as all of you.

Although I don't know if this can help clarify anything... I hope everyone will not get upset with me or misunderstand me, because of the things I do on the programme~

I'm very grateful for everyone's opinions, criticisms etc, and I'm trying to improve myself based on that.

Their conversation starts with Solbi. Andy and Solbi play a newlywed couple in MBC's We Got Married, and more and more viewers are starting to hope that they will become an item in real life too. Friends of Andy are all saying that they want to "matchmake" the two of them. In response to DJ Choi Hwa Jung saying "Just date Solbi and see how it goes", Andy laughs.

Shinhwa's Andy, becoming a solo singer for the first time in 10 years with "Love Song". At the same time, his popularity has soared due to his appearances on variety shows. After appearing in dramas he is also being recognized as a musical actor. DJ Choi Hwa Jung meets Andy at a cafe in Gangnam on a sunny May afternoon for a chat.

Andy: Ah no, that's not true. It should be Eric hyung. She always ends her sentences with "Eric oppa". Everything she starts talking about Eric hyung I just feel like dying.

CHJ: Even if that's the case, you'd eventually have some feelings for each other given that you keep seeing each other. Haven't you ever felt anything for Solbi at all?

Andy: ... I have.

CHJ: Solbi said before that "If Andy oppa is ok with it, I'd really want to date him". What do you say to this?

Andy: She's kidding... Although I don't know how my heart will change in the future, but at the moment we're still getting to know each other better

CHJ: Don't you have the intention to date during the process of knowing each other better?

Andy: If Solbi possesses the qualities I look for in a girl, I would want to. I'm quite conservative, so I don't like girls to drink. And she must be able to take care of the people around her. I can't say definitely what's the type I'm looking for.

"I can't have a girl paying."

CHJ: The Shinhwa members haven't really had any scandals before. Although you can say that's a good thing, but isn't it a little boring?

Andy: I'm not exactly popular. Although I attend birthday parties or gatherings, but I don't really talk to girls or sing in front of the guests. Although I'd like to start conversations with the girls, I just can't do it.

CHJ: Then you can't even say hello to the girl you like? Is there a reason why you can't chat girls up?

Andy: Before Shinhwa's 2nd jib I still took the subway wherever I went. One day I met a girl I really like, and I picked up my courage, walked over and said hello, but the girl just ran off! Although I wanted to catch up with her, I didn't.

CHJ: You should have just went after her

Andy: If you want to describe my personality, I'm someone who'd watch TV at home, if I see a really pretty female celeb I'd think to myself 'wow she's really pretty, I'd really like to date her'. But then again, the girl might end up being involved in a scandal with someone else, then I'd end up moping at home eating and drinking soju by myself.

CHJ: Then haven't you had any girlfriends before?

Andy: Two, one before my debut and one after my debut. But both them are already married now.

CHJ: Did they share any similiarities?

Andy: They were the type to take the initiative in everything they do. I always felt that girls who work hard at what they do are the most beautiful.

CHJ: During the times when you were dating, were there any moments when you didn't have enough money?

Andy: I can't have girls paying up. When Shinhwa was just starting out I wasn't really familiar with branded labels. There was one day we were at this branded boutique and I thought the item cost about 100,000won so I wanted to get it for her, but then I realised it was much more than that. I got a shock and I had to borrow a charge card from our manager, and the company card at that.

CHJ: Shinhwa members used to go to clubs together. I heard that only you didn't get recognized.

Andy: That was during the 5th jib. I wasn't part of the 4th jib, so when we did the shoot for the 5th jib we just went together. But I was the only one who didn't get recognized, in fact I was even mistaken for the club manager. In the end I just sat there and finished the drinks by myself.

"A normal, shy student."

CHJ: How did you get discovered for Shinhwa?

Andy: I was just a regular kid when I was in school. In the US, when our school had special events, me and Tony hyung would perform these impersonations of foreign singers. That's how I got discovered.

CHJ: Were you a very cautious person then?

Andy: Yes, very cautious. Very shy, very uncomfortable around strangers.

CHJ: I heard you were supposed to be a H.O.T member, what happened?

Andy: My parents were against it then.

CHJ: H.O.T did very well right from their debut, weren't you envious?

Andy: I was. I really envied their success.

CHJ: Did you believe that Shinhwa would make it big?

Andy: No actually. I was very young when we made our debut, not even old enough to drink yet. After our 1st jib, our manager talked to us over drinks, and discussed our future plans if our 2nd jib didn't succeed. But T.O.P and our 2nd jib did very well in the end.

"I was very troubled over the nasty comments about my solo activities."

CHJ: Who's the most handsome out of the Shinhwa members? Do you feel like you've learned a lot from your hyungs?

Andy: Each of them has their good points. Eric hyung's charisma; Minwoo hyung's charisma and showmanship on stage; Dongwan hyung always has interesting things to say; Hyesung hyung has a great voice. Of course they have their flaws too, so I wouldn't pick those up from them (laughs) Jin hyung is very talented and witty.

CHJ: Then what about you would they imitate?

Andy: Aegyo? Hahaha

CHJ: Which member do you get along the best with?

Andy: Eric hyung. We've knew each other since we were studying in the US, it's been 16 years. So we know each other very well.

CHJ: Did your first solo album meet your own definition of success?

Andy: Initially there wasn't much of a response, and I got quite worried. I read on the Internet many comments such as "Why are you releasing an album, just stick to variety show appearances", "Can you really sing?". Although I tried to appear that I was fine, but I really drank a lot of soju by myself at home.

CHJ: But "Love Song" became very popular

Andy: When the song first came out, comments were like "Just look at this" and other negative comments, and I was in a panic. I was troubled by what I should do to improve everyone's opinions.

"As long as she is understanding and can take care of the people around her, ok."

CHJ: What kind of girls do you like?

Andy: Intellectual, and persevering. At the same time she must be understanding and be able to take care of the people around her.

Andy: I'd be lying if I said they don't. I'd look at appearances too, but rather than to say that I like pretty girls, I would say I prefer girls who are focused on what they are doing, that makes them attractive.

In actual fact there are some celebrities with some issues with their characters, but there are many honest and innocent ones too. Andy belongs to the latter category. He doesn't have a hidden private life, and he remains innocent and kind. He took part in the 8 May Father's Day edition of Choi Hwa Jung's Powertime - and on that show, we saw in Andy a filial son, the burden of being the head of the household, and a young man who worries about his parents all the time. On the May 11 broadcast of MBC's We Got Married, Andy personally whipped up a meal to welcome Solbi's parents for a visit. Solbi and viewers alike were all impressed by his culinary skills, which were comparable to a professional.

And as for how Andy picked up his skills, he said, "I'd watch and learn whenever my mom's cooking". He was preparing pancakes, vegetables and seafood all at the same time, leading Solbi to exclaim, "I think I really married the perfect guy."

Looking at Andy who was concentrating on making the meal, Solbi couldn't help but hug the lovable Andy from the back, saying "Andy's really a person whom you want to understand more as you get familiar with him."

On MBC's Show! Music Core on May 10, as a surprise, Andy sang his latest song 'Propose' to Solbi who was MC for the show, and gave her roses as well. And on SBS Quiz! One half of the An-sobang/Solbi couple in MBC's We Got Married, singer Andy shared his views towards marriage. In an interview, Andy said that "most of my firends are already married. Looking at how in love they are, I'm more than a little envious - I'm very envious. Especially when I see their kids, I'd think of getting married as soon as possible."

Andy, who has been single for the past 6 years, continued, "Although I'd really like to be in a relationship, but I can't seem to meet the right girl. Probably I've been single for too long, dating seems to be very troublesome now. I'm happier meeting up with friends for a drink instead. My friends are worried that I'd sink into depression, which in fact I did."

Laughing it off, Andy said "I overcame it by telling myself that I should live happily. I got through 6 years thinking that the right person would appear eventually."

With regards to his "wife" Solbi, Andy commented "Solbi is very serious about her work, and at the same time she's really good at taking care of the people around her. She's an intelligent and kind friend to have."

During the recording for Sixth Sense Challenge, the guests had to choose their partners, and as the male guests were all trying to avoid a guy-guy pairing, MC Lee Kyung Gyu asked Andy, "Will you trust Solbi wholeheartedly?"

Andy's answer? "No, but I'll use my song to express how I feel", and started singing Propose to Solbi.

Appearing on Choi Hwa Jung's Power Time on SBS Power FM, Shinhwa's Andy talked about his parents, a subject that he rarely discusses.

On the programme, Andy recalled the time when his father was admitted to the emergency room due to a brain haemorrhage. At the moment Andy became the head of the household and the emotional support of the family. He recalled, "The moment when I had to sign on the operation documents was the most difficult time of my life, and I cried."

"My tears wouldn't stop falling, and I didn't know what to do. When my dad regained consciousness, he held my hand and told me "I'm sorry I couldn't do anything for you", after hearing that my heart was in even greater pain."

"Although my dad woke up, but his health is still quite poor. I'm always worried about him. My mom's health isn't good either. She has been telling me recently to get married quickly, and even told me to go for matchmaking sessions. Now I know how badly she wants to see me married."

Andy even added, "When my mom sees me and Solbi on TV as if we're really married, she would laugh, and I'm happy to see that. I think I really do want to get married soon after all."

After the moving confession from Andy, DJ Choi Hwa Jung and singer Kim Hyun Chul all agreed that "Andy is truly a filial son."

On the May 6 episode of KBS2's Sang Sang Plus Season 2, Shinhwa members Kim Dongwan and Junjin appeared as guests, and mischievously asked MC Solbi, "If Andy initiates a relationship, would you agree?"

Solbi's answer was a clear "Yes".

She added, "Andy's private life needs to be protected". When asked what about Andy she likes, she replied "I like guys with nice butts, Andy has a nice butt."

Andy who was in the midst of filming the MV for his new song 'Propose' when he had to be rushed to hospital for abdominal pains.Although the doctor told him he needed a long rest, but he still stood on the performance broadcasting stage, and reveal his battle spirit..

Andy and Solbi, who plays his make-believe wife on MBC “We Got Married” have taken to showing their affection for each other on radio.

Andy was on KBS Radio Cool FM on 30th April and Solbi who was listening to the radio broadcast at that time sent a text message to him. Radio deejay, Maybee saw this and decided to call-out to Solbi suddenly.

Solbi said during the call, “I’m now listening to the show, Andy oppa is beside you right? Please tell Andy oppa that I miss him very much”, not hiding her feelings for him. She also showed her support for Andy’s new song. Andy then greeted Solbi back and they both started chatting happily on the phone.

Listeners felt jealous of them but yet felt that they looked really compatible with each other and will support Andy and Solbi as a couple.

I gotta say I am very proud of myself... 1st. of all because my new teacher said today that I am the best in the whole group at writing Mandarin... which is really a compliment...
The people around me knows that I am a perfectionist, I know is not good because you take so much time concentrating in something that you forget the rest.
But at least I am happy because my teacher bust my ego, to me it means if you want people to notice how good you are in something, you need to become in a hardworking person maybe not at the extreme but you gotta work hard if you want to become "the best" in something and get recognition for being good at it. So yeah... I am happy!!!! Chinese rules!!!

To write about something else... I am Proud of TVXQ!!! I am really glad they won the BEST Buzz Asia from Korea @ the MTV VMAwards 2007, because with time they have become the best "idol" for most of the teen and many other people, maybe they only get recognition in Asia but they have so many fans around the world. All the arduos work the got thru to become an artist has showed us how great they are and that they have so much potencial to do all the things they have dream of. I think they have so much more to give... I do hope that in the next years they can explore more and get to really show the fans the real them [even though they do that now] but without any barrier. TVXQ you rock my world!!!

So after searching thru all the 430 pages of the 2nd Thread of DBSK on Soompi... I am still in page 325 a 100 pages more to go... Found this:

They're not a group where there are a few lead vocals, all five of them have very good vocal training.In some other groups, the best singers must have the most important parts or go first, and there are limitations like that.But these guys don't have anything like that so they can work very freely when it comes to vocal part divisions or harmony.

Jaejoong has the ability to allow his voice to be smooth and also erupt in thickness, without even being shaken.

I always use Yunho for the parts where the emotion felt at that young age is needed. He has a honest and truthful voice that has no fakeness.

Should I say that he [Yoochun] stimulates a sort of delicate voice or that he gives the impression of what I heard a lot during the 80's like pop and such.

He [Changmin] is a singer who has a very wide range. Usually falsetto is used for those high notes, but Changmin uses his genuine voice.

If there is a song, he [Junsu] perfectly nails that note or beat. It is fundamentally good to put in the perfect pitch, but I think he is the best at slightly pulling or stretching the rhythm.
